Koji is the Head of Investment Bank Operations APAC at UBS and is responsible for IB Operations teams across 13 locations in the region that provide settlement, clearing, reporting and other post-trade and client services. In addition to being a member of the APAC IB Management Forum and the Global IB Operations Management Forum, Koji holds the regulatory supervisory roles of Manager in Charge (MIC) and Senior Manager (SM) for Operations in Hong Kong and Singapore.
Prior to joining Operations in 2022, Koji served as the Regional Operating Officer for the Global Markets with front to back oversight for the business. He joined UBS in 2011 as the Head of Financing Risk in APAC after previous industry roles as a partner and quantitative portfolio manager at Aviator Fund Management in Connecticut, USA and as a derivatives trader and quantitative strategist at KBC Financial Products and D.E. Shaw in New York, Hong Kong and Japan. Koji graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics with emphasis in Computer Science from Harvard University. He has served as mentor for the 2023 Programme cohort.
