Matthew has a unique combination of experience in international banking and non-profit organisations. By drawing on his commercial experience, Matthew has founded companies equipped to successfully navigate issues facing start-ups which can then focus on addressing social challenges.
Matthew is CEO and co-founder of Social Career, a non-profit organisation that combines technology expertise with a charitable mission. The organisation’s core focus areas are volunteer engagement, technology for good, and digital transformation. By combining these areas, Social Career strives to create a more robust social good ecosystem where technology empowers communities and NGOs to achieve lasting positive change. He also founded Around, which is building B2B on-demand elderly care service networks.
Matthew holds a Masters degree in Industrial Management and Manufacturing, with a focus on Technology and Innovation Management from the ETH Zurich.
