Women Innovator Incubation Program

“Women Innovator Incubation Program” aims to tackle gender inequality in the technology sector of the GBA1. Currently, women represent only 29.2% of the workforce in STEM2 fields and hold just 32.2% of senior managerial roles in East Asia. This program will collaborate with Hong Kong academic institutions and the local Women Entrepreneurs Association to deliver specialized innovation education,tailored mentorship programs, and investment opportunities for women innovator. We will undergo a pilot phase in Foshan, recruiting 35 female innovators to enhance visibility, reduce investment risks, and expand market opportunities through three targeted initiatives. Furthermore, we will establish a GBA Development Cooperation Alliance to provide cross-departmental support and help them bridge the gender gap.
