This project aims to offer transformative vocational training and internships designed specifically for youth with Special Educational Needs (SEN). The program combines Animal-Assisted Intervention (AAI) with dog handler vocational training, providing participants with practical skills, and enhanced employability in pet-related and other community jobs as they develop their personal growth. Selected beneficiaries will receive training in dog handling, equipping them with knowledge and competencies to work as certified dog handlers and other pet-related areas. By incorporating animals into the learning process, participants will experience the emotional, and physiological benefits that animal interactions can provide. Evidence-based studies and research support these.
