In Hong Kong, many preschoolers with special educational needs (SEN) and their families feel isolated and misunderstood. Everyday activities – such as making friends or joining outings – can be overwhelming.
The SEN Children’s Voyage of Discovery aims to change this by offering structured group training, immersive XR (extended reality) experiences, and guided community outings for SEN children. The project also equips caregivers with practical support and opportunities for peer connection.
An Integrated SEN Map will help families access trusted services and inclusive spaces. Together, we seek to nurture confidence, resilience, and real-world skills so that every child and family can feel they truly belong.
