“PI empowers. The cycle of pride flowers.”

Addressing elevated mental health risks among Hong Kong’s LGBT+ young adults, with 24% experiencing moderate to severe anxiety and 30.8% depression, compared to 13.7% and 19.2% in the general population (Chan, 2025; Mind HK, 2022), Project PI is suggested.

The PI includes Peer Opinion Leader (POL) Training and Inclusive Workshops. The former is a structured group training program designed to address mental health risks stemming from minority stress, while the latter are co-created and delivered by the POL cohort to foster resilience and reduce minority stigma in schools, among professionals, and in enterprises.
