Pillars and Pioneers: An Intergenerational Storytelling Bridge for Ethnically Diverse Elderly and Youth

This project addresses the social isolation, digital exclusion, and systemic invisibility facing Ethnic Minority (EM) elderly, alongside the connection crisis of EM youth. Operating in a culturally responsive way, this 12-month project creates a structured intergenerational platform that positions 100 elders as “Pillars” and empowers 35 youth “Pioneers” as skilled facilitators. Through reciprocal knowledge exchange and digital navigation training across three districts, we aim to reduce elderly loneliness by 30% and ensure 90% digital service mastery. Ultimately, the successful outcome bridges these cultural and digital divides, yielding a 130-piece media archive that fosters a more inclusive, reciprocal, and resilient community.
