Applicants based in Hong Kong and other Greater Bay Area (GBA) cities* are welcome to apply. Interested applicants should meet the following entrance requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or above with 3 years of working experience in the nonprofit sector or relevant field (with rationales and evidence)

Good command of English

At least 10 years of working experience in the nonprofit sector or relevant field (with rationales and evidence)

Good command of English

*GBA applicants are responsible for their visa applications to Hong Kong. For more information, you may refer to https://www.immd.gov.hk/eng/services/visas/visit_transit.html or your local authorities.

Application Procedures

To apply, you are required to complete the following before the application deadline:

Submit the Online Application Form

Prepare a 1-minute self-introduction video and share the video link (please ensure it is public for viewing) in the application form

Invite your supervisor from your organization to complete the Endorsement Form*
(*The consent of the applicant’s supervisor is required to ensure the organization fully supports the applicant to participate in our Friday lessons.)

Your application will be considered incomplete without the Endorsement Form.

Applications for the 2026 cohort will open on 8 January 2026 (Thu) at 10:00 AM. The deadline for submitting applications is 4 February 2026 (Wed) at 1:00 PM. Both the application form and the endorsement form will be made available at the start of the application period.

Late applications will not be considered.

Programme Fee

The SSILP Team will carefully read the applications to verify the nature of applicant’s organization and determine the programme fee for each applicant.

*Registered under Section 88 of IRO in HKSAR; Social Association, Social Service Organization, or Foundation from Mainland China; Association, or Foundation from Macau

Applicants who work in a social enterprise will also be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
