HOPE worldwide provides education and medical care for underprivileged children and other needy groups. Since 1993, over 30,000 seniors and 136,000 children & youth in Hong Kong & Mainland China have benefited from HOPE worldwide’s charitable programs.
Jonathan started his career in HOPE worldwide in 1998. He left his profession as a qualified project manager in a well-known real estate developer to facilitate orphan adoption and organize training for orphanage personnel in China. The programs were soon expanded to educate students in rural counties and then migrant children in main cities of China.
In Hong Kong, Dental service, especially for the elderly, is in high demand. In 2017, Jonathan was excited to initiate and develop two social enterprise type dental centres to provide quality dental care and do good at the same time. Surplus of the dental centres will benefit needy elderly’s dental care as well as other urging needs.
In 2023, an integrated elderly community care centre, consisting of a new dental centre and a sport & day care centre, was set up to meet the needs and desire of most elders in achieving “Healthy Aging in Place.” Jonathan has joined the Programme as a mentor since 2021.
