Richard Mun, currently the Head of Group Functions Legal APAC, has been with UBS since 2005. Prior to that, he was as a lawyer in private practice both in HK and London (where he was born and grew up). Richard has a passion for mentoring and at the weekends he mentors law students from the HK Federation of Business Students Program, and working adults in various fields (hospitality and finance). He has served as mentor for the 2023 Programme cohort.
During his sabbatical in 2021, Richard was a full-time volunteer at a local NGO supporting refugees and asylum seekers in Hong Kong. Outside of work, you may see him struggling to keep up with group classes at Pure Fitness. He and his wife are cat-lovers and in another life, he would like to be a foster dad to kittens.
Richard holds an M.A. in Law from Cambridge University.
