Athena has been with UBS for over 15 years. She heads the Governmental and Regulatory Affairs team in APAC which is responsible for engaging with government agencies and regulators in 13 locations for policy advocacy, market development, prudential and supervisory interactions. Prior to her current role, she has served in various positions including Location Operating Head Hong Kong and GWM Head Legal Greater China. Before UBS, Athena was a practicing lawyer specializing in structured financing, securitization and PRC debt transactions.
Athena is a qualified lawyer in Hong Kong, England and Wales, and received her law degree from the University of Oxford. Athena has joined the Programme as a mentor since 2018.
