Zoe Chan is a social entrepreneur and Co-founder of Free Periods Hong Kong, an organization dedicated to providing menstrual education and support to disadvantaged communities across Hong Kong. Her entrepreneurial journey began in 2014 with the launch of happeriod, a social business promoting menstrual cup usage and menstrual health education. Recognizing the broader societal need, Zoe leveraged her experience to co-found Free Periods Hong Kong in 2018, extending her impact to underserved communities and furthering her commitment to menstrual equity.
The commitment to social justice extends beyond her own organizations. Zoe actively contributes her expertise and energy to the Hong Kong Federation of Women’s Centres Limited as a Member of their Fundraising Sub-Committee and to Action for REACH OUT as an Exco member, reflecting her dedication to empowering women and communities in Hong Kong.
