Gender-based bullying is a nuanced form of violence that targets individuals based on sex, sexuality, or gender identity. While schools are legally obligated to prevent bullying, existing strategies often fail to incorporate a gender-sensitive perspective. The proposed project addresses this by equipping educators to identify, prevent, and respond to gender-based bullying. It empowers educators of students aged 9-15 through awareness workshops, an EmpowerED Hub, and a peer support network. Building on a decade of experience and partnerships, our organization is committed to cultivating safe, inclusive educational environments and advancing a scalable model for nationwide educator professional development on this issue.
