Head and neck cancer (HNC) survivors in Hong Kong face dental problems and difficulties with eating, but there are no professionals in the community to help them. The Hospital Authority (HA) only provides limited support, such as annual check-ups and extractions. To address their needs, this project offers holistic support to treat their chewing and swallowing problems. This includes interactive educational workshops, “can eat” kits, and dental treatment. With these resources, eating is no longer a nightmare for HNC survivors. This project aligns with the vision in the “Hong Kong Cancer Strategy 2019” and aims to serve 100 cancer survivors and their caregivers.
