Community Legal First Aid 街坊法律站

Legal exclusion in Hong Kong is rarely a problem of absent rights, it is a problem of absent pathways. Grassroots residents facing divorce, tenancy disputes, or unpaid wages are shut out by distance, language, and distrust. This project builds a community-powered legal triage network in Yau Tsim Mong. Equal Jus ce co-designs a mul lingual Legal Health Checklist and referral pathway with NGOs to screen and refer unmet legal needs so they are iden fied and addressed before problems escalate. By training NGO caseworkers and volunteers to administer the health check, the skill and resource stays in the community long a er our involvement ends.
