Generation Hong Kong urges employers to tackle ageism and prepare nonprofessional, non-managerial mid-career workers (aged 40-50) for the future. Our initiative aims to enhance career longevity in an aging, tech-driven society. By co-developing a targeted Behaviour, Skills, and Mindset (BSM) and AI upskilling program with employers for at-risk employees, we aim to create job transition opportunities and drive age-inclusive HR changes. This practical approach will build a case for addressing the aging workforce, benefiting businesses and society by fostering economic mobility and social cohesion.
