Positive Sexuality Education on HIV/STI Prevention

The current sexuality education in Hong Kong is ineffective in improving the sexual health of youth by not equips with enough sexual knowledge and life skills dealing with sexual health problems. Human immunodeficiency virus/sexually transmitted infections (HIV/STI) are a serious public health issue and can result in long-term physical and mental health effects. A positive, affirming and inclusive approach online sexuality education can effectively to motivate the youth to practice safer sex and improve sexual health. The benefits are critical to public health. A cost-effectiveness and cost-benefit of this project can save in medical and social costs by preventing HIV/STI.
