Children with SEN placed under residential care services face unique challenges in building secure relationships and emotional management. Taking care of these children requires a high level of systematic understanding and practical skills.
Project HIVE aims to enhance the quality of service to children with SEN under residential care service by training frontline caregivers in Island Hostel, a boys’ home with a designated school managed by our partner organisation, Hong Kong Student Aid Society (“HKSAS”). The training aims to promote skills that foster empathy and relationship management.
