The LeadHERship Project will deliver a targeted train-the-trainers program for secondary school Physical Education (PE) teachers and university students preparing to become PE teachers, equipping them with gender-sensitive and wellness-focused practices to better support adolescent girls in sport. It responds to an urgent gap in Hong Kong’s PE ecosystem, where educators often lack structured training on girls’ physiological, psychological, and social needs, contributing to disengagement and dropout. Through practical workshops and co-created toolkits, the project will strengthen inclusive teaching and build a more equitable school sports environment for teenage girls.
