In collaboration with 2024 alumni Victoria Lo from Generation Hong Kong (registered NGO)

Hong Kong has the highest life expectancy globally, but this longevity creates growing financial pressures and great demands on public services. This project aims to enhance the financial attitude and financial preparatory behaviours of “sandwich class” working adults through an interactive app-based intervention that uses AI to simulate a conversation and connection with their aged future self. Through such conversations, users will better understand the importance of long-term planning, pitfalls during planning, clarify their prioritizations, set concrete financial plans, and track and monitor their preparatory behaviours. Ultimately, the intervention will increase long-term financial preparation of target users.
