Gender in Conversation: A classroom discussion game for Hong Kong secondary school students

This project will develop and pilot test a bilingual, offline discussion game for Hong Kong mixed-gender secondary school students which aims to spark discussions about gender stereotypes and norms, relationships, and peer pressure. Designed as a reusable learning tool for teachers with an accompanying microsite, it will supplement schools’ sexuality education curriculum and provide a fun, low-pressure way for students to discuss sensitive topics. To widen the game’s impact beyond the classroom, the project will train and support a group of student game ambassadors who can help expand its reach in various school groups and support long-term sustainability.
