Learning Circles – Peer-Led Learning Ecosystem

Sunbeam Children’s Village (SCV) supports disadvantaged children in Baiwan, Qingyuan. When the SCV closes its residential gates, 40 youth in Qingyuan lose not just a home, but their entire support network. This project, ‘Learning Circles,’ provides an immediate, lowcost, and scalable solution. By creating a peer-led learning ecosystem, we connect 80 disadvantaged youth—both from SCV and the wider Qingyuan community—with each other and with peers from Guangzhou. This is a youth-led movement for resilience, connection, and mutual empowerment, as well as a pioneering transition model.
