AI Teaching Assistant for Cantonese《「語」你共融》AI 教學助手

Hong Kong’s non-Chinese students (“NCS”) are present in over 70% of publicly funded schools, but most lack meaningful Cantonese support. CantoGather (“CG”) has spent five years developing a play-based tutoring model for non-Chinese primary students. Two challenges limit our reach: we cannot be physically present in every school that needs us, and even experienced tutors struggle to tailor lessons to each child’s level and interests. Schools’ Teaching Assistants (“TA”) face this alone, without tools or training. This project digitises CG’s curriculum expertise into an AI-assisted teaching tool so any tutor or TA can personalise lessons, track progress, and teach with confidence.
