MINE Your Business: Discover Your Craft, Own Your Future

MINE Your Business is a 6-month community internship programme equips secondary school leavers and non-degree youth from under-resourced backgrounds (aged 18–25) with career exposures, trusted role models with sustained guidance. Participants learn alongside local businesses—through hands-on placements, structured reflection, and collaborative projects. SONOVA designs the community ecosystem, mobilises host businesses, and curates storytelling outputs. Dream2Story leads youth recruitment and provides trained volunteer mentors. The pilot will serve 10–15 youth, with pre/post measurement of personal development and career preparedness outcomes, generating insights into the root causes of youth disengagement and identifying effective approaches for both engagement and early prevention. The programme is designed to evolve into a multi-year community programme across Hong Kong, supported by government, corporate, and community investment.
